Brian Force is the owner and lead trainer at Sky Force Basketball.  He has coached basketball for 16 years, at various levels including the junior high, freshmen, elementary levels and 9 years as a varsity head coach. Coach Force has organized and lead youth basketball camps and clinics for many years and is currently in the process of building the Lordstown Youth Basketball program.

 

Coach Force is entering his third year as the head coach of the Lordstown Red Devils. In his first year at the helm, Force lead the Red Devils to a tie of the NAC Stripes Division League Championship, Lordstown's first conference title in 37 years. Following the 2013-2014 season, Force was named Division IV Northeast Ohio Inland District Coach of the Year and Trumbull County Division IV Coach of the Year. 

 

Force previously coached the Berkshire High School boys basketball teams to back-to-back Chagrin Valley Conference - Valley Division league championships. Force also led the Berkshire Badgers to a second place finish in the 2007 OHSAA Division III District Championship. Force was named Chagrin Valley Coach of The Year in the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Coach Force then spent 4 seasons as the varsity coach at Aurora City Schools where he currently teaches 6th grade math. Born and raised in Ashtabula, Force attended Ashtabula Harbor High School and later played basketball at Hiram College. Coach Force resides in Lordstown with his wife, Mandy, and their three sons, Aiden, Ganon, and Jonah.
